At long last, I actually updated the content section! Whoo. 1 texture (which is basically a darker version of the Mr. Brightside theme background- it’s a paper-like texture that I made from scratch). 2 new brush packs: the one named “Splatpack” is, as the name suggests, a “pack” of brushes to make those celeb-styled splatter layouts. A new update, and it’s about time, too. Finally, after that long layout blank I had, I created this theme that I decided to call Mr. Brightside. Basically, I just had the song (by The Killers) stuck in my head the whole time I was making it- it really doesn’t have anything to do with the song, besides having lyrics from the whole chorus spread around it.

So, anyway, that’s one thing crossed off my To-Do list. I also got inspired to draw those brushes (the red one on the right), after I played around a bit with Illustrator, I found that pretty pattern and decided to put it to use. I’ll be putting the brushes up sometime during the week, so keep an eye on the “Updates” section on the sidebar for that. I’m also going to try to add some textures as well, hopefully on/before Wednesday because I have a day off from school then. Yay!

I went to my friend’s birthday party yesterday, which was, of course, awesome. I think I’m seriously addicted to Singstar- especially on her PS3, because she has a massive TV that looks fantastic. I just had to sing Mr. Brightside over and over on it.
My friends and I also had to practice a dance (which we had to choreograph ourselves), as we’re performing it in front of our class on Friday. I was actually really surprised at how fun it was, since I have no sense of dance at all and I completely fail at learning steps; It was still fun, but I don’t think it’s going to be if I forget the steps while performing. Wish me luck on Friday, ’cause I’m going to need it.

Hey everyone, sorry again for my lack of updatess.  This blog is pretty much a number of lists.  I was tagged twice, but I can’t be bothered doing 20 facts about myself, or tagging 20 people.  Rofl.

1.  I just got a drawing/graphics tablet.   Yay!
2.  I often put things off until the last minute.  D:
3.  I go swimming every week + it’s my sport of choice.
4.  I hate it when the weather’s cold.  I have the heater on way too much during winter.
5.  I’ve never been on a airplane before.
6.  I learn French at school.  Not that I’m any good at it.
7.  I love eating roasted chestnuts.
8.  I really enjoy writing, but I’m often too embarrassed to share it.
9.  I once spent days downloading custom content (clothes, for the most part) for my Sims 2 game.
10.  My laptop takes like, 10 minutes to  switch on and log in.

‘k, now thats over and done with, I need to get the following things completed:
-  Fix tutorials.  The reason they don’t work?  I haven’t actually written a lot of them.. yet.  I’m planning to, though.  ;D
-  Do English homework.
-  Do Humanities homework.
-  Practice for Maths competition thing.
-  Draw up some pretty brushes.
-  Make a new theme.

Basically, for the past 2 weeks I’ve been putting school before the site- which is how it’s always going to be, I’m afraid.  I promiseee to do some more things for the site next break, which is in about 8 weeks time.

Mmkay, so I’ve had a major layout blank lately.   I’ve been trying to make a new theme, but they keep turning out badly when I try to make them look “different”.  :o  And I’m in desperate need of a new layout, I’m getting bored of the current themes. “Layout Blank”- There’s my excuse for this blog, by next blog I hope I’ll be able to make a nice theme.

While we’re on the topic of graphics, I have been making a lot of things lately at/for school- a whole lot of mini-posters on Illustrator (which I’m trying to get a hang of), advertisements on Illustrator/Photoshop, and I’ve been trying out tutorials to learn more effects and skills on photoshop.  xD  There’s probably a whole lot of things I don’t know yet.  I’ve also been doing a lot of coding lately.  I hadn’t noticed before, but I actually really enjoy coding things.  I guess thats nice to know.  Idk why I brought that up, I just wanted to make this blog longer.  ;D

Anyway, I went back to school about a week and a half ago.  Over break, I’ve forgotten how much homework I get from school (although I get even more from my dad.)  Ughh.  I had 3 tests/1 assignment due, all of which I had thought I totally screwed up.  Boy, was I surprised today when I saw my results.  Luckily, I actually did quite well- yesterday I was all stressed out and panicking because I’m a complete geek and afraid of failure (academically), so it was a huge relief to know that my whole term report isn’t going to be lowered by failed tests. 

Okiedoke, House is on TV now, so thats all.  :)  Hehe, I love House.

YES.  I completed most of the list from the last post.  Although, it took me ages to get around to it.  I’ve added 2 new brushes:  Lines! and Dotdotdot, don’t ask about the names- I ran out of ideas.

The only thing on my list left to do?  Use the PPG PSD that Amanda made.  I might just make a layout with it.  ^^  Also, I should probably write some tutorials/make some textures, but no promises there (we should all know how lazy I am by now).

In non-site related news, I went to visit the dentist today and my teeth were in fairly good condition but I did have to have one filling redone, since the last one fell out.  Bah, its hurting now.. or feeling a little weird, I hope it stops soon.

So, I’ve been enjoying my holidays/break so far- one more week until school again.  I haven’t done much but sleep in, which is good enough for me!  I would like to go shopping, though.  I need some more shoes.  And clothes.   And a drawing tablet.   If I can learn to use one, I tried once and I failed terribly. xD

‘kay. Its been about 2 weeks since I last updated, because I’m a loser when it comes to updating. And it’s hot out.

BUT. After putting it off for a while, I finally blogged. Go me. The only problem is, I haven’t actually added any content. Although I did add some affiliates, and hostees. First of all, JessicaJessicaJessica, at Dreamability! Her lookups are absolutely fabulous. Angie, at Scarborough Fair, who has really nice hover thingies. ;D Brittany and Ally and Rain (who just revamped). Go look at their sites, because they’re awesome.

Okay, enough plugging. Time to make a new To-Do list that I will actually do this time.
- Complete the following goal: On the next blog, I will have added some content (especially tutorials).
- Code Ash’s layout for Lua. =)
- Do my math/English/French homework. :(:(:(
- Stop procrastinating.
- Actually complete this list.
- Use the PPG PSD that Manda made.

Ash, you better start bugging me to do it. :3 Oh, score. I added a 2 plug in’s there without even planning to.

I also just spent a couple of minutes trying to delete all the spam I’ve begun to get. I accidently deleted some real comments- I apologize. Stupid ‘bots. Time to find a wordpress plugin to get rid of them.

I guess thats all for now. My mum is forcing me to go with her to buy some chicken.
